The National Association of Supported Accommodation Partners (NASAP) launched in November 2023 after the success of The National Supported Accommodation Conference (formerly The National SaILS Conference) earlier that year. Through our collective commitment we are bringing together a diverse set of experiences, broad expertise, and focused energy from across the country.
Our vision unites us as partners in building a values-centered, ethically led association to enhance outcomes for young people in supported accommodation.
Our mission is to lead with integrity as we collaborate with our partners and the young people we support. Elevating the quality and impact of supported accommodation and amplifying the voices of all key stakeholders.
Weʼre dedicated to nurturing a sector that places young people front and center, advocating for their rights and entitlements, and inspires pride.
This is at the heart of our approach. It recognises that by working together—whether as partner organisations, external stakeholders, and alongside young people themselves—greater impact can be achieved. It is through shared efforts and mutual support that the greatest achievements are realised.
This emphasises our commitment to continuously raising the standards of support and accommodation offered to young people. It is about us collectively striving for excellence and pushing boundaries to ensure that the services provided by all our partners are not just meeting but exceeding expectations.
Integrity is the ethical backbone our association, ensuring that all actions are conducted with honesty, transparency, and respect. It is crucial for building trust with our partner organisations and professionals, as well as external stakeholders.
Our dedication to fostering growth, development, and well-being among the young people accessing supported accommodation is a key pillar to our purpose. It also reflects our commitment to providing a supportive environment where partner organisations and professionals can thrive, develop their skills, and reach new heights in their potential.
Amplifying voices ensures that the needs, experiences, and perspectives of young people are heard loud and clear. We also believe in empowering our partner organisations and professionals to speak up and have their voices contribute to shaping the future of supported accommodation.
Advocacy is a commitment to stand up for the rights and needs of young people. This commitment drives our dedication to lobby for policy changes, increased support, and better resources that will directly benefit young people accessing supported accommodation.
