Nathan started his career 14 years ago in a Sure Start Children’s Centre where he found a passion for supporting Children, young People and Families. Nathan went on to complete a BA Honours degree in Childhood and Youth Studies and has now extensive experience in working with challenging behaviour in various environments.
Nathan, now a Director of WiNurture Childcare, worked in childcare and residential childcare settings whilst gaining experience in frontline work as well as training others, before transitioning into leadership roles. In 2018, Nathan founded and become Director and Responsible individual for WiSupport, an independent supported accommodation provider which was awarded the Rose of Northamptonshire in 2021, highly recommended for the leaving care award at the National CYP Awards in 2022, WiSupport was also ranked in the top 50 UK SME providers of Apprenticeships for 2023.
During this period Nathan has partnered with other professionals to create, WiNurture Childcare, a residential childcare organisation and WiEducate, a provider of specialist independent schooling.
Nathan has a drive to support and help others and in time outside of his full-time employment, he holds the role of Parish Councillor for Hunsbury Meadows in Northampton and forms part of the Board for the National Association for Supported Accommodation Partners.
